About

Measurement that admits what it does not know

AdsAnalyzer is a mobile attribution and retention analytics service for app owners.

Every app owner buying installs needs the same four answers: where a user came from, how long they stayed, what they paid, and whether the spend was worth it. Getting those answers has become harder as the platforms have closed down, and much of the industry responded by estimating the gap and presenting the estimate as fact.

We took the other path. AdsAnalyzer reports a source only when a platform confirms it: a click ID carried through Google Play, Apple’s own Search Ads token, a code your user typed, or an advertising ID they agreed to share. Where that evidence is missing, the install is reported as unattributed, and Apple’s own campaign totals are shown beside the exact rows rather than blended into them.

That means some cells in the report say “we don’t know”. We think a number you can act on is worth more than a number that merely looks complete — and that an SDK should never put its customers’ apps at risk to produce one.

The product is built in the open about its limits, and the blog explains the mechanics in detail, including the cases where measurement simply stops.
