Mobile attribution & retention analytics

Know which ad brought each user — and what they were worth

AdsAnalyzer records every install, session and purchase in your iOS and Android apps, credits it to the campaign, creator or link behind it, and shows what your spend returned. Exact matching only — no fingerprinting, no invented numbers.

Built on the platforms’ own signals: the Google Play install referrer, Apple Search Ads, and advertising IDs where the user allows them.

Four questions, answered per campaign

Where each user came from

Every install credited to the campaign, creator or link that caused it — exactly on Android through the Play install referrer, and on iPhone through Apple Search Ads, creator codes and Apple’s own campaign reports.

Whether they stayed

Sessions and session length are recorded from the first launch, so day 1, 7 and 30 retention is there for every source you spend on — not just in total.

What they paid

Purchases arrive with their amount, currency and product, counted once however often a device retries. Test purchases are flagged and left out.

What the spend returned

Campaigns and daily spend are imported from the ad platforms themselves, so cost per install and return on ad spend come from real numbers rather than a spreadsheet.

Three steps to set up

  1. 1

    Add the SDK

One call at launch, in your iOS and Android apps. Installs and sessions start recording themselves; purchases and your own events take one line each.

  2. 2

    Connect your ad accounts

Apple Ads today; Meta, Google Ads and TikTok as each approves our access. Campaigns and daily spend import automatically. Creators and websites get links and codes instead.

  3. 3

    Read the numbers

Installs, retention and revenue by campaign, creator and link — with iPhone’s aggregated figures shown beside the exact ones rather than blended into them.

Never guess

Every match is one a platform confirms: a click ID carried through the Play Store, Apple’s own Search Ads token, a code your user typed, or an advertising ID they agreed to share. Installs we cannot place are reported as unattributed, not credited to the nearest guess.

  • No fingerprinting from IP address or device details — ever.
  • Consent and opt-out are built into both SDKs, and honoured across launches.
  • IP addresses are erased after 30 days; names, contacts and location are never collected.

Questions people ask

Do I need my users’ permission to use this?
No. Installs, sessions, retention, purchases and your own events are first-party analytics and need no prompt on either platform. Apple’s tracking permission is only needed to link an individual iPhone user to an ad shown in another company’s app; without it, those campaigns still report their totals through Apple.
Does it work without the advertising ID?
Yes. Android attribution runs on the Play install referrer, which needs no advertising ID at all, and Apple Search Ads attribution uses Apple’s own token. The advertising ID only adds matching for ad networks that rely on it, and only where the user allowed it.
Do you use fingerprinting?
No. Guessing which click matches an install from IP address and device details is against Apple’s rules, can get your app rejected, and is unreliable behind carrier networks and Private Relay. Unmatched installs are reported as unattributed rather than credited to a guess.
What does the SDK cost in app size and battery?
It has one small dependency on Android and none on iOS. Events are batched, gzipped and sent every thirty seconds while the app is open, and queued on disk when there is no network, so nothing is lost and little is spent.
Which platforms are supported?
iOS 15 and later, and Android 5.0 and later, with native SDKs for each.
